Jennie Finch, the retired softball pitcher who helped the US Olympic team score a gold in Athens and a silver in Beijing, is pregnant with her third child. Already parents to sons Ace, 6, and Diesel, 13 months, Jennie and her MLB player husband Casey Daigle are excited about getting ready for baby.
“Casey & I are beyond blessed to share with you that we are expecting Baby #3!” she shared on her Twitter page. “We couldn’t be any more thrilled! ;)”
According to Jennie’s guest blog post for People Magazine’s website, the couple is expecting the baby in January. The athlete thought she might be pregnant after spending a couple of weeks attending several important events, including the ESPYs, the MLB All-Star game and her 2004 team’s induction into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame, when she realized she was more tired than usual.
Though her bump isn’t on display yet, photos posted on FabulousBuzz.com show Jennie wearing a gorgeous beige wrap dress at the ESPYs with large circular earrings and a gold clutch. She’s certainly bound to keep up the chic attire during the next several months.
