Toni Collette had some exciting news to share last week – the actress gave birth to her second child, a boy!
According to People.com, the United States of Tara star and her husband, David Galafassi, welcomed Arlo Robert right before the Easter holiday. The little one joins big sister Sage, 3.
"He was born on Good Friday making it the greatest Friday, indeed!" the family said in a statement.
It looks as though this is a red-letter year for Collette. Aside from seeing the Showtime series which she leads amass endless critical acclaim, she earned yet another Golden Globe nomination for her work on the drama-comedy (the Aussie-born lady took home the statuette in 2010).
Collette first showed up on the public radar in 1994 when she played the marriage-obsessed dimwit lead in the Australian flick Muriel's Wedding, and was later was nominated for an Oscar for her work in The Sixth Sense. Since then she has lent her talents to countless television and film projects.
We're glad to see the woman has found quite the balance between her family and career!
