It's been two decades since Modern Family star Sofia Vergara sported a bump while expecting her son Manolo, but she's back on the bump scene now that the show's in it's fourth season. Her character, Gloria, and TV husband Jay Jay (played by Ed O'Neill) are expecting a child, and she's been styling her faux bump in a way that should be inspirational for all moms-to-be.
Photos posted on People magazine's website show the star donning her padded belly in two styles that are sure to be winners with ladies who are expecting this fall. One was a faux wrap maternity dress with an edgy green and black houndstooth design, which she paired with a pair of black tights, black pumps and a green purse. The garment's empire waist settled just above the bump, drawing attention to her chest.
The second ensemble featured another dress with a trendy snakeskin print in vibrant shades of blue. She accessorized with the same black tights and black shoes, carrying a matching blue bag this time.
If you're looking for pregnancy clothes to wear this season, it wouldn't hurt to take a cue from Vergara's look. Black tights and wrap dresses are figure flattering and totally appropriate for fall.
