Famed Canadian singer Michael Buble and his Argentinean model wife, Luisana Lopilato, recently announced that their first pregnancy will result in a baby boy. The couple made the initial announcement back in January through a video message that showed an ultrasound image accompanied by Buble’s song “Haven’t Met You Yet.”
The crooner shared the news about the baby’s sex with the New York Post’s Page Six.
“We are so excited,” Buble, 37, told the newspaper. “We have just come from the hospital, and the sonogram was pretty clear, it’s a boy! We are thrilled.”
According to Parade magazine, Reese Witherspoon of all people was one of the first to know about the pregnancy. Apparently, Buble and Witherspoon were working together on a collaboration for his new album when he spilled the beans to her during a phone call about their duet, which will be a cover of Frank and Nancy Sinatra’s “Something Stupid.”
“It was nice for us to bond that way,” Buble told the magazine. “I told her before anyone else in the world knew, even members of my own family!”
