Singer Lily Allen is expecting her second child with husband Sam Cooper sometime in December. Although the 27-year-old’s bump is so big that it looks about ready to pop, she managed to look glamorous for the British Fashion Awards 2012 at The Savoy Hotel in London, England.
Photos posted on The Huffington Post UK’s website show the star wearing a floor-length navy blue A.L.C. gown. The dress featured wide straps and a horizontally striped bodice, which morphed into long vertical pleats just above her bump. She accessorized with Louis Vuitton shoes and a boxy handbag by the same designer. Her hair was pulled into a pretty updo with wispy tendrils on the sides and side-swept bangs.
As for how she felt on the red carpet, it seems she wasn’t completely thrilled with how she looked.
“I know I have fat arms, but dumbbells are for glum belles,” she Tweeted after the event.
Hopefully once her baby arrives next month, she’ll be able to feel a bit better about her body!
