The best maternity clothes aren’t necessarily those that make you look glamorous and carefree – they’re the ones that will help you feel comfortable no matter what the occasion!
This is one fashion lesson that style maven Jessica Simpson has taken to heart over the course of each pregnancy. The 32-year-old “Fashion Star,” who is mom to 1-year-old Maxwell, is currently expecting her second child with fiance Eric Johnson.
The happy family recently made an outing to Kings Fish House in Calabasas, Calif., on Sunday, May 19, where Simpson was snapped wearing sneakers, a black tank top and hoodie.
This maternity wear may not be as chic as some of Simpson’s other attire – including maxi dresses and cute shifts – but it does look awfully cozy for a mom who’s about to give birth in a couple of weeks!
“This time around because I was doing Weight Watchers and I felt-super healthy, I’m not really craving as much and I know how hard it is [to take the weight off] so I’m trying to make healthier, wiser decisions,” Simpson told Ellen DeGeneres in March.
For Simpson, who is reportedly expecting a baby boy, the arrival of her new little bundle of joy is sure to add plenty of life and laughter to her already busy home.
