Actress Halle Berry – who received an Academy Award for her role in "Monster's Ball" and has since appeared in such films as "Catwoman" and "New Year's Eve" – made headlines recently when she announced that she's pregnant with her second child.
The star, who is engaged to French actor Olivier Martinez, 47, is already mom to 5-year-old daughter Nahla, whom she had with her ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry.
"This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth," Berry told CNN. "Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful."
Although rumors have swirled that the expectant mom is pregnant with a baby boy, Berry denied these rumors, saying that neither she nor Martinez know for sure what the sex of their child will be, although she did confirm that the baby is healthy.
At the age of 46, Berry is older than many moms-to-be, but the news that her little guy or gal is on the way shows that pregnancy can be remarkable and positive at any age. It's also an inspiration for women who are eager to learn how to get pregnant naturally.
One thing's certain, though: Berry, who is almost as well-known for her sultry style as she is for her film career, is sure to show off some chic maternity clothes throughout her pregnancy!
