Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton made her last public appearance on June 15 before retiring to wait out the remainder of her pregnancy. And, in usual form, Middleton – who announced her pregnancy back in December 2012 – wore a sensational ensemble that is the perfect inspiration for chic maternity clothes for women!
Appearing for the Queen's traditional Birthday Parade in London, Middleton donned a pink coat designed by Alexander McQueen and a wide-brimmed hat in the same hue. Looking elegant and vivacious, Middleton was on the arm of her husband, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, who was outfitted in regal military garb.
Alongside Prince William and Middleton were Prince Harry, the Duchess' brother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, the wife of Middleton's father-in-law, Prince Charles.
Middleton's decision to wear pink has some onlookers speculating that she may be expecting a baby girl, which would be exciting news not just for the people of the U.K., but also for the royal family.
Whether Middleton gives birth to a baby girl or boy, the little one would be third in line to inherit the throne, after Prince Charles and Prince William, respectively.
In addition to the smashing pink outfit Middleton showed off, she was photographed on June 13 in an animal-print frock that showed off her adventurous side! Designed by HOBBS, the dalmatian-print dress was a daring choice for the duchess, who typically sticks to more conservative attire.
