My six month old loves the Evenflo ‘A Day at the Beach’ Exersaucer. It is a great product for this in between period when he’s starting to discover his feet, toes, hands and fingers. The exersaucer has 31 different activities, so it keeps my little one busy and gives him a chance to make all sorts of new discoveries. He appears to be constantly discovering a new toy or feature. The exersaucer also allows him to move pretty freely, he can bounce, spin or rock in it.
In addition to the different activities, I also appreciate that the toys on the exersaucer can be easily removed if you want to grab one for the car or a trip to the park. The height adjustment is helpful because it will grow with my baby. The fabric seat can be removed easily for washing, which I appreciate because I can quickly wash it after hosting play dates.
The assembly was pretty straightforward, though I have to admit that I took it out of the box and then decided to wait to let my husband do it. In the end though, it looked easier than I expected.
One thing to note is that the exersaucer doesn’t make any sounds or have any bright flashy lights like some exersaucers on the market. That may be a pro to some and a con to others. For me it’s fine because he has other toys that are more sound oriented. I think the lack of sound and bright lights actually causes him to concentrate more and use his mind to discover how to play with the toys.
Overall, I’d recommend this product. I really appreciate having somewhere that I can set my baby down safely, that will also allow him to continue to develop by learning new ways to use his fingers, hands and feet.
I’d recommend this product if you’re looking for an affordable exersaucer that challenges your baby in a way that is fun, safe and interesting for him.
