If you’re one of the many women who experiences nausea during pregnancy, you know the feeling can strike at any time — not just the morning. Assemble this easy kit, and keep it at the ready in your bag, desk drawer, or glovebox. You’ll feel better knowing you’re prepared.
Here’s what you need:
- Gallon-size resealable plastic food bags (unzipped and ready to go), plus small paper bags to put a plastic bag into after it’s been used. Or, purchase airline-style barf bags at sicksaver.com (5 for $5)
- Gum and mints or hard candies
- Toothbrush and travel-sized toothpaste
- Chewable, quick acting antacid
- Kids-size bottle of water
- Mini-pack of crackers
- Pack of tissues or a few folded paper towels
- Wet wipes or baby wipes
- Aromatherapy facial mist such as Burt’s Bees Lavender Complexion Mist ($9, drugstore.com), which has calming benefits.
